Trailer Analysis - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - Gameplay Demo PlayStation Experience 2014

Following on from last weeks Trailer Analysis of the Uncharted 4 teaser/reveal trailer, this week I've covered the exteneded gameplay demo, that was shown at the PlayStation Experience towards the end of 2014. As far as I know the footage is captured from a PS4 and the content is likely to have been taken directly from the campaign, so those adverse to spoilers, approach with caution.

Trailer Analysis - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - E3 2014 Campaign Teaser/Reveal

It's been a while since I've made a Trailer Analysis video but I'm happy to announce that the series is back and hopefully I'll be able to post videos on a more regular basis. To start the year off, I'll be talking about one of my most anticipated games of the year, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

Journey To Platinum - Medal of Honor: Warfighter [Part 2 ~ Multiplayer Trophies]

A lot of people, myself included, views the multiplayer in Medal of Honor as a cross between Call of Duty and Battlefield. Fortunately for me, I (mostly) enjoy both the aformentioned franchies, so stepping into Warfighters multiplayer didn't require much of an adjustment plus I also played the previous MoH game, so I had some previous experience to fall back on. My opinion on the multiplayer is split, on the one hand there were moments where I was genuinely having fun but then at other times, I was getting stupidly frustrated/annoyed by the lag, bugs and underpopulated servers. If you've completed the SP trophies and thought they were time consuming, you defintely won't be happy to see the MP trophy list. The time scale will vary depending on your skill level but you can easily expect to spend at least double the amount of time playing the MP, compared to how long you spent on SP. Bottom line is, most of the MP trophies are very grindy, so if you're not patient enough to get through them, I'd probably advise moving onto another game.

Journey To Platinum - Medal of Honor: Warfighter [Part 1 ~ Single Player Trophies]

If someone had said to me I'd eventually go on to plat Medal of Honor: Warfighter when I initially started playing the game, I'd have laughed in their face. But here we are, nearly a year after first loading up the disk, I'm now writing my second Journey To Platinum article on it! :O I'm not really sure why I decided to go back to the game, lord knows I've got enough un-played (and many un-opened) titles in my game library to get stuck into, I guess it's just in my nature to see things through to the end. I did play the previous MoH title and it was fairly enjoyable, so I decided to give the sequel a whirl. I think I prefere the SP in MoH than MoH:W but that isn't to say it was bad, it just wasn't as refreshing as the first, the multiplayer however I think is improved in MoH:W but I'll speak a bit more about that in the multiplayer trophies article. Anyway as SP trophies go, the ones in MoH:W are pretty hard, so if you're going for the platinum, you should be prepared for some considerable effort and numerous re-tries.

How to Farm Salvage and Earn Easy XP in Solo Private Matches - Tomb Raider Multiplayer

During the research stage of earning my platinum for Tomb Raider, I read on more than one occasion that salvage could actually be farmed while in private matches and furthermore, that it could be done solo. A little more research revealed that the same was also supposedly true of XP, now while I didn’t think all these people were collectively lying, I was somewhat sceptical and quite confused. Reason being, I’ve never come across a multiplayer game, where progress made in private matches is saved and actually carries over into public matches.

So I decided to check for myself, I created a private match, started it up and sure enough the game got under way with just me in the lobby. I then proceeded to complete the objectives and crack open a few crates along the way, when the round ended I opted to return to the lobby, noting that the game was saving some data. I then left my private lobby and began searching for a public match, after some time I was plonked me into a public lobby, where I was able to confirm that both salvage and XP earned privately, had indeed been saved and carried over.
