A lot of people, myself included, views the multiplayer in Medal of Honor as a cross between Call of Duty and Battlefield. Fortunately for me, I (mostly) enjoy both the aformentioned franchies, so stepping into Warfighters multiplayer didn't require much of an adjustment plus I also played the previous MoH game, so I had some previous experience to fall back on. My opinion on the multiplayer is split, on the one hand there were moments where I was genuinely having fun but then at other times, I was getting stupidly frustrated/annoyed by the lag, bugs and underpopulated servers. If you've completed the SP trophies and thought they were time consuming, you defintely won't be happy to see the MP trophy list. The time scale will vary depending on your skill level but you can easily expect to spend at least double the amount of time playing the MP, compared to how long you spent on SP. Bottom line is, most of the MP trophies are very grindy, so if you're not patient enough to get through them, I'd probably advise moving onto another game.
Multiplayer Trophy Trophy Guide
MVP - Finished in first place in any online match
Depending on how skilled you are at multiplayer shooters, this will either happen naturally or require a small bit of effort to complete. If you don’t usually play FPS multiplayers, you’ll be glad to know that scores in Warfigher don’t depend solely on the number of kills you get (well, for modes other than TDM anyway), they also take into account how well you played/assisted with the objectives. My advice is to try each of the game modes and find one that you like, after that all you can do is try your best and that top place finish should occur at some point.
---------------------------
All In - Called in Apache support
Support actions come in two types: offensive and defensive. They are earned when you rack up a score streak, so every kill and objective played without dying, will get you closer to the next support action. The highest support action you can call in is the Apache attack helicopter; this is the final branch on both sides of the tree. It doesn’t matter what you choose for each support action level before it i.e. you can go offensive for the first and defence for the next or whatever; these choices have no bearing on your progression towards the Apache.
It’s worth me mentioning that when you call in an offensive support action, any kills/assists you get will be your reward; you won’t get any XP if you waste it. However with the defensive actions, which are non-lethal, you’ll get a set XP reward as soon as you call it in, which isn’t much but is a guaranteed pay out. So you should judge the situation carefully and call in what will best help you get the most XP to progress to the next support action. Note: the support actions vary from class to class.
Successfully attacking objectives will yield a decent amount XP, so you should be concentrating on them, I got my Apache during Combat Mission, which is the longest match you can play. If you can call on a friend to buddy up with, this trophy is the time to do it, having someone you trust to cover your six can mean the difference between reaching the Apache or dying because you ran out of ammo and couldn’t resupply.
---------------------------
There IS an I in Fire Team - Finished a round as part of the top Fire Team
At the end of every match, the fire team with the highest score on the winning side will be displayed in the match ending cut scene. You’ll be playing plenty of multiplayer matches for the other trophies, so just try your best and this should happen at least once in due course. Fire team placements on the scoreboard are based on the combined match score of you and your buddy, so if you get stuck with a noob this will make the task much harder to achieve. Having said that, I’ve managed to top the tables by having really good games, so even if my buddy was pretty passive in the match, it isn’t impossible to do alone. I think the best place to get a decent score, especially if killing is you strong point, is to play objective based modes. Successfully attacking objectives i.e. capturing sectors and planting/dis-arming bombs will reward you with a nice chunk of XP, this can also help you to earn support action, which will further boost your score.

Brothers in Arms - Won a round with a Friend as a Fire Team Buddy
I was fortunate enough to have a friend on my list that actually owned Warfighter, I didn’t know this when I first started the multiplayer but one day I logged on and saw that he was also playing. For the next couple weeks we partied up and played together, we finished in top spot several times but obviously you still only get the one trophy :P There aren’t many players online these days, maybe a thousand at peak times (on PS3 anyway), so the chances are you’ll be bumping into the same players quite often. If you find someone you play well with, you should consider sending them a friend request, you never know they might need the trophy to and besides this game is much better played with a buddy you can rely on.
---------------------------
Warchief - Unlocked all soldiers in multiplayer
Every time you hit a new rank, you’ll unlock a new solider, each soldier unlocks a new weapon (or variant of an existing weapon). In the early stages you’ll be unlocking more soldiers and weapons than you’ll know what to do with but as you reach the higher ranks and levelling takes a bit longer, the unlock rate will even out and you might actually end up having to wait for some.
---------------------------
Jack of all Guns - Earned the Marksman Pin for all Weapons
This was the final trophy before I unlocked my platinum for Warfighter and quite fittingly so, it was also the toughest and most time consuming of all the trophies in SP and MP. Most of the weapons are OK but there are select few that will either make or break your attempt at the platinum, you’ll need to get good at using some really sucky guns and then do it again at least two more times. Some units use the same base weapon but come with different attachments; unfortunately the game considers each weapon variation as a different gun, which will be a bit confusing at first. To make things simpler, don’t think about the weapon models; instead associate each weapon pin with the corresponding soldier that uses the gun.
You can see which weapon pins you’ve previously earned via the in the in game menu but I think it’s much easier to visit your MoH:W battlelog stats page and track them from there. The marksman pin requires you to get at least ten kills with the weapon in question, the game will alert you when you’ve achieved the pin, once you see the notification, you can then switch to your next gun and start working on that one. What I did was make a list of each soldier in the game and then work my way through the guns in the order I had laid out, this way I wasn’t wasting time trying to remember what I had already done and what was supposed to be next. Finally, don’t forget that you can customise the weapons you’re using, so be sure to kit them out how you like to use them, this won’t affect the pins.
---------------------------
Back in the Fight - Completed one tour with all classes.
This trophy was the second to last trophy that I earned for Warfighter, the XP required for a single tour isn’t that high, so you should probably have them completed before you achieve the weapon pins trophy. I myself was approaching the end of tour two for some of my classes and even started a third for one of them. If you’re not really clear on the whole tour thing, basically completing them is an automatic process, you don’t need to do anything, additionally nothing is lost or gained (apart from some stats).
---------------------------
Honey Badger - Used your Fire Team buddy to re-arm or heal
One of the better features in Warfighters multiplayer is the fact that you can get additional weapon ammo and first aid by interacting with your match buddy. Just like requesting ammo from an ally in the campaign, when you stand next to your fire team buddy, you can do exactly the same thing, except you can also heal or be healed. In core matches, you still heal if you don’t ask your buddy for assistance but quite slowly, whereas if you do ask for re-supply, your health will be fully restored almost instantly. In hardcore matches, I don’t think your health recovers unless you seek out your buddy, so it really is beneficial to stay close and work as a unit.
---------------------------
Squad Leader - Unlocked a soldier of each class
This shouldn’t take long at all, there’s only six in total and if I remember correctly you get three unlocked by default anyway, so you’re already half way there. You’ll probably still be learning the default classes when you unlock the new ones.
---------------------------
Downrange - Played online for 15 minutes
You’ll be spending a helluva lot longer than 15 minutes playing online if you want any of the other multiplayer trophies XD
---------------------------
Job Done - Complete 3 Combat Mission objectives
A fairly simple trophy to earn, well, at least in principle anyway. As the description says, you’ll need to be playing a Combat Mission, now depending on which side you get assigned to, you’ll either need to attack or defend a set location. Being an attacker requires you to plant some explosives and then make sure it successfully detonates, being a defender you need to stop this from happening by using up all the enemies respawns and defusing any planted bombs. There are only ever three objective target in each combat mission, so in theory you could get the trophy in a single match but the chances are you’ll probably need to play several.
---------------------------
Global Warfighters - Unlocked a soldier from each unit
There are twelve different special ops forces featured in Warfighter and all you need to do to unlock a soldier from each unit is just rank up normally. Unlocking a new unit doesn’t really bring much to the game, apart from the fact that you can choose to play a particular nation, in case you want to be patriotic and all that.
---------------------------
Personally I think some of the requirements for these multiplayer trophies is a bit absurd, granted a platinum should be challenging to earn but it's not like the SP trophies were easy, so there's really no reason why the MP ones had to be soo time consuming. Putting aside the griding nature of the MP trophies, the server issues are a big hurdle in itself and apparently some of the trophies can glitch out on you, which means even if you meet the requirement, you might not even unlock it! Anyway, I'm happy I managed to see it through to the end, there were several times where I was very tempted to pack it all in and give up but like I said, there were times where I was enjoying myself and they were enough to keep me going. The platinum for Medal of Honor: Warfighter is pretty rare and for good reason, you can either stomach the multiplayer or you can't.
Do you think the multiplayer trophies were reasonable or not? Let me know below :)
